The 2015 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, Because Tires Should Burn In Hell

Mopar enthusiasts/tire destroyers got their first look at the 2015 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak "test vehicle" at the NHRA U.S. Nationals Event in Indianapolis. They did burnouts, so you know it's pretty much exactly what you want if you're a Sportsman racer.

What, exactly, is the Drag Pak? Essentially a turn key dragster for "Sportsman" racers — a.k.a. amateurs — who want something modern and fast with a roll cage pre-installed and set up for NHRA regulations with a weight box and 12-volt battery in the trunk.

It has the new SRT front and rear look and a great widebody kit, but the engine is actually Chrysler's 426 cubic-inch Race HEMI with an aluminum block tied to a Chrysler-based 727 automatic transmission. So, yeah, no Hellcat engine yet, although we'd expect a return of the V10 model.

I don't have much to add other than, you know, burnouts!
