Look around on any street and you'll see no shortage of black, silver, grey, and white cars. You won't see many in these ten colors and that's something that needs to be rectified.

10.) Light Silver-Blue

You see a lot of blue cars, and even more silver colors but not too many in a nice silver-blue. BMW offered a great color called Fjord Blue which looks great on a 2002 or a 3.0 CSi.

9.) Orange

Orange is starting to make a comeback with Ford's Molten Orange and BMW's Valencia Orange but there's still plenty of work to be done before it's a regular fixture on America's streets. Why can't I buy a new Camaro in Hugger Orange, Chevy?

8.) Pink

Nothing swaggers quite like a Pink Cadillac, yet it's a hard color to come by. Perhaps it makes too strong a statement for many, but there are very few cars on sale today offered in pink.

7.) Dark Cherry

Infiniti offers a great version of this under the name 'Midnight Garnet.' Subtle, but certainly not anonymous.

6.) Two-Tone

Ok, so this isn't strictly a color so much as a color scheme, but we can all agree that the world needs more two-tone cars on the road. It looks great on everything from small sports cars to big luxobarges, and it'd be perfect for today's high-waisted designs.

4.) Brown

Ah, the preferred color of automotive journalists everywhere. It doesn't work on every car, but when it does it's incredible. Some manufactures are starting to offer more brown cars, which hopefully signals a comeback.

2.) Purple

It was a thing in the '60s and again in the '90s, but it never reached the mainstream the way it should.

1.) French Blue

A staple on French racing cars from the likes of Bugatti and Renault that never really caught on for road cars. Thankfully the guys at Volvo have given us a variant in the form of their Rebel Blue.
